2020 is a year, when Corona hit us all hard. The pandemie started. Unfortunately, it also ment that we had to cancel our CJR tourney for the first time. It was a hard and painful decision … or fact.
2020 was also hard, because we’ve lost Todd Lee in October 2019. Todd used to live in Germany, played with the Wiesbaden Flyers and Aschaffenburg Mohawks. He was one of the founders of the CJR tourney. And yet, he lost his own battle and also took his life. We were shocked and in pain, when we heard about it.
We decided to name the Homerun Derby at CJR after him. But we won’t have one this year, so we are waiting for 2021.
