We will do our best to raise both money and awareness to fight against suicide and bullying. This epidemic is killing children, veterans and humanity at an alarming rate. This is our third annual Charity Event. We know that we are making a difference. I have been told by people that we have saved lives! This is our mission!
We have many things going on over this weekend of 27-29 May 2016. There will be a Homerun derby on Friday 27 Amy to benefit a child in need in the Babenhausen, Germany area. More details to follow. There s a kids homerun derby as well. This is a family event!
Saturday will be the big day for us. Following the last games and giving players a chance to clean up we will commence with our annual raffle and auction. There will be many things worth saving your money up for. Things ranging from autographed sports memorabilia, rumor of maybe a Willie Mays autographed baseball, new high in demand bats from many companies and as always, a few surprises thrown in.
As this goes on the wonderful people from the band BACK IN TIME have generously offered to put on a live show for the players and People party. Thank you so much for volunteering without pay to do this! Come join us and the band for a great time with great people. No cover charge and food and drink are available.
All proceeds go to our charities. 100% of them.
You don’t need to be a softball player to enjoy this weekend. In fact, most people there will not be playing. They will be having a great time supporting our cause. Will you be one of them? We could use some help if you have time. Be it working with some kids in the bouncy castle. Yes we will have one of those! Maybe face painting is more your thing. No problem we have that also. Ever wanted to set someone up in the dunk tank and take a few throws? This is your place to be then. Selling raffle tickets, helping cook or sell drinks and and and… We would love for you to come help out. We would love for you to come hang out and enjoy our softball family!
