Singer for the Righteous Brothers "Loses that Livin’ Feeling"

KALAMAZOO, MI - The case of the death of Bobby Hatfield, singer for the Righteous Brothers, has taken a turn for the surreal in the last twenty-four hours. Hatfield’s body was discovered at 7:00 PM on November 5th, in the hotel room where the singer was resting prior to giving a performance at the Western Michigan University Campus.

The first autopsy seemed to indicate that Hatfield, a smoker, had died due to a heart attack brought on by years of inhaling carcinogens, and exhaling sappy love songs. Although the Kalamazoo police were ready to close the book on the Hatfield case, a strange discovery of trace amounts of a toxic substance, changed the nature of the investigation.

“I just can’t believe that anyone would want to hurt Bobby,” said long time partner and friend, Bill Medley. “He was the type of man that everyone loved, he simply lit up a room. He got a lot of people laid over the years, and no one was there for him when he was murdered.”

Maher Takes Away That "Living Feeling"

Through investigation, local police believe they have found the perpetrator that murdered Hatfield by slipping poison into the singer’s drink. Bill Maher, talk show phenom is now in the custody of the Kalamazoo Police.

Mat Weeler, lead investigator in the Hatfield case gave a press conference soon after Maher’s arrest. “Evidence that we have managed to gather through our dead singer task force has uncovered a nefarious plot on the part of alleged talk show host Bill Maher. As most of you know, things have been going down hill for Mr. Maher ever since he had Slash from Guns N’ Roses on his show as an intellectual commentator.”

Weeler continued by stating that, “It was Maher’s intent to murder Mr. Hatfield, and assume his place as part of the Righteous Brothers duo. We believe that this is not the first time that Maher has tried to change his career status, and we have reopened the case surrounding the death of Bee Gees singer, Maurice Gibb. We surmise that Bill Maher did not continue this earlier plot, after realizing that he did not resemble Mr. Gibb, and the Bee Gees were practically dead anyway.”

Bill Maher is currently being held without bail, awaiting arraignment for the crime of murder. He was not available for comment, and everyone should know that his hot-ass girlfriend Shanna Moakler is now free.
