Stockholm, Sweden - Scientists at the Stockholm-Hackenstad Institute of Technology - Head Animal Unification Sector (S.H.I.T.H.A.U.S.) were shocked to discover a film canister in the laboratory's basement that contained footage of a long-since forgotten crossbreeding technique. This discovery delighted the department and helped bring new hope to their floundering Project: Catdog. Head of the project, Swedish Zoologist Dr. Lükitmaei Petzaphukin, said that the film revealed a fresh approach to the project: One incorporating a human touch.
 
"It‚s a technique that was joked about in our lab for some time but, until now, never acted upon by our present team" stated Dr. Petzaphukin. "You simply need to give them just what humans would want: a relaxed atmosphere with a comfortable bed. The animals were able to take it from there on."

Project: Catdog enters its 7th month of research this week. This discovery comes not a moment too soon for department scientists, with investors threatening to pull funds for the project lest results were seen.
