Brantly's Press Secretary Joshua Jenkins
said of the event, "Senator Brantley
has been gay for quite sometime and
he has explained to me that this debate
was becoming too heated and he felt
he could break the ice by kissing Senator
Collins."
Collins, a self proclaimed manly man
seemed distressed after the kiss, but
he and Senator Brantley did meet in
private to discuss what has taken place
and have reached a common ground.
When Collins was seen leaving Brantly©ˆs
office he seemed much happier, glowing
even. However Faux-Newz would like to
report that he was walking very funny.
Brantley said after Collins left, "I
believe Senator Collins and myself have
come to an agreement on our differences.
Hopefully I can change more Republicans
one at a time. It'll be hard work, a
lot of one on one situations and a whole
shit load of give and take."
