NEW YORK, NY - An emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council was convened today to determine the best course of action for dealing with a new and horrifying terrorist threat. Earlier this week, a man identifying himself only as “Phil” sent a ransom letter and a picture to the UN. The letter explained that Phil had taken control of the sun, and that unless he was paid one million dollars, he would use his power to destroy every living thing on the planet. Normally, threats of this nature go unheeded by the UN, but the included picture was too much for them to ignore.
 
UN-President Kofi Annan is scheduled to have a press conference later this afternoon when the Security Council settles on the plan for dealing with this threat. When he does, Faux-Newz just might be there to get the story for you  but probably not, since it’s going to be right around our siesta time.
