WASHINGTON D.C. -
Due to a terrorist attack planned
to occur sometime before November
2nd, The Bush administration
has postponed the elections
indefinitely.
“We don’t know when
it’s going to happen,”
Tom Ridge said. “We
don’t know where it’s
going to happen, or in what
manner it’s going to happen.
But there will be an election
at some point in the near future.”
“We are doing this for
the safety of all Americans,”
President Bush said at a press
conference at the White House.
“In order for we as a
country to remain free, we will
postpone the elections until
we are absolutely sure that
there is no threat of terrorism
on our soil.”
He added, “We’re
in this for the long haul.”
Dick Cheney has addressed the
public outrage many Democrats
are voicing. “This
is for their safety,”
he said. “John Kerry
and his gang of liberals should
be ashamed of themselves for
trying to politicize such a
serious threat to liberty and
the safety of The Homeland.”
The time and place for which
George Bush’s coronation
is scheduled is being withheld
from the press for security
reasons.
